another hard game as the games come fast and furious at us, today we welcomed carl and the boys from coast soccer. and a good 1st half performance from torino gave us a 2-0 lead, with Soulsby scoring 2 good goals. a few chances came our way to add to our total but woodwork and good goalkeeping kept the 1st half score 2-0 to torino.

2nd half and coast really upped their game and made it hard for torino to add to the total, and to be honest coast had a couple chances to pull goals back and really make it a hard afternoon for us, but today lady luck was smiling on us and the game ended 2-0 to torino and another 3 points and a clean sheet, as we try and consolidate 2nd place in the league.

big well done to carl and all at coast soccer,a team who i think we have played more than any other, as we have came across them in various tournaments all over the region, and good luck to all for the future. Torino, big well done again from me, 3 league games left and all hard ones and a hard cup final v ncle city. lets take each game 1 at a time and see what we can do. ENJOY- RELAX- PLAY- WIN.

Last weekend,U11 Eagles played City Jnrs in the Div 1 league cup final. The lads played well and were resilient enough at the back to go almost the full game without conceding. After about 10 minutes Matt Law put the Eagles 1-0 with a pristine finish from a difficult angle. Pressure began piling on but it wasn’t until the final few minutes that Newcastle City broke through to notch a dubious header that only just crossed the line, according to the referees assistant. Extra time ensued and a counter attack in the second half allowed the Eagles to break and go one on one with the keeper until a scything challenge bought us a free kick on the edge of the 18. Matt Law finished a superb free kick delivering it into the top corner. 2-1 it finished.

Congratulations Red House Farm Eagles, League Cup Winners 2012.

cup final night and torino took on a very strong and dangerous hexham team who torino have beat twice already this season in league and league shield and still have to play each other again in a league encounter. the 1st 10 mins were at a hectic pace and the hexham keeper was down injured after a brave save (injury to head) but he was up again ready to play. torino had 2 chances one off the bar the other wide, but it was hexham who took the lead with a good finish across the keeper from outside of the box, 1-0 hexham. it took torino 5 mins to find a equalizer with a good goal from Williamson, after a flick from a ball into the box- game on, not yet as hexham again took the lead with a free kick from outside of the box into the top corner 1-2 to hexham, the last 10 mins of half were all torino but with only half chances. 2nd half and torino dominated more of the game but could not really test the hexham keeper to take the game into extra time and hexham were always looking dangerous on the break but they also could not add to their tally. in all a lung busting game which hexham shaded with a very strong performance when the boys of hexham probably were a yard quicker tonight and wanted a little more than us- hats off to all at hexham and well deserved win tonight.

torino unlucky tonight, we never played to our best, like as of late but all players give 100% and tonight was not our night, you sometimes get games like this, not to worry, chins up and hats off to you all for a great end of season (we cant win them all, and took defeat like men) we still have another cup final v city jnrs and 4 league games left, keep up the good work and enjoy.

Another tuff game for torino as they took on crammy reds @excelsior academy on the omni, as due to bad weather crammys pitch waterlogged. The wind was blowing a gale as the game started and lasted the whole game. Torino dominated the 1st half and we caught crammy asleep with a short corner and Robertson put torino into a 1st half lead. 2nd half was more crammy but they like us missed chances to put them level, but it was Supersub Scarth who finished the game off with a deadly finish to give torino the 3 points and the win.
Big thanx to micky, mark & all from crammy and good luck for rest season and cup final.
Torino again, a huge well done to all for a hard fought win. 4 league games left to enjoy. Wednesday 1st of 2 finals, this one v hexham @ cowgate. Lads this is your final enjoy, relax & have a good night.

Redhouse 3 Seghill 4 – 29/04/12

This was a tricky game against an improved Seghill side. On another day we would have won this convincingly but a slack first half was followed by a second half that should have gave us the points. A disappointing result but we witnessed three of the best goals of the season, Max fired in an exceptional overhead kick, Dan Jordan (yes Dan Jordan) volleyed home from a right hand corner and David Liddane smashed home from 40yds with a bullet drive .

Great goals but a game to forget!

Ryton & Crawcrook 3 Redhouse 2 – 03/05/12

I thought this was by far our best performance this season against the table toppers. Ryton went into this game having lost only one game when we beet them first game of the season 3-1. Today’s game was very pleasing, especially the effort and determination shown throughout. Although R&C took the lead it was Redhouse who dominated the game. Theo grabbed two on the night but it was a fantastic team effort and again we were unfortunate to come away empty handed.

Great effort lads!

Whitley Bay 0 Redhouse 2 – 09/05/12

Following our 5-5 draw at home both teams have been sitting in 4th and 5th place respectably so today’s game was a 6 pointer. Whitley dominated the first 25 min and should have taken the lead several times but for stout defending from Liam, Penny, Connor and ‘bite ya legs Jordan’ but it was Joe and Joe who shored things up in midfield with Cam dropping deeper to stem the tide. Matty and Max provide the support going forward with Theo the lone striker.

Dan Coyle made some great saves in the first half and again in the second but our tactics worked well in the second period with JP and JJ going man for man. Jack replaced Matty as our outlet with Theo central and Max on the right and it was Theo who scored on the break to make it 1-0 with a great finish. Woody replaced the cramped up JJ and done a sterling job in the anchor role before JJ came back in to replace the injured Cam and Matty switching with the exhausted JP.

Our defending was great today and it payed when Theo latched on to a ball from Max, Whitley allowed him to turn onto his left and smash the ball from 30yds against the crossbar, Jack was the man running in and he nodded our second to secure the points.

Great discipline shown today, our units and individual roles were top notch!

as the games come thick and fast, tonight’s league encounter we welcomed Simon & Wbbc, who on there day can beat any of the leagues team. another fine 1st half performance with good goals from DRINKELD & McKIE gave torino a good lead, but the real story of this half was all the chances we missed, i would honestly say at least 8 real chances were missed – FINISHING MUST BE BETTER. 2nd half and Whitley really worked hard and made us work really hard also, but both teams had half chances but neither added to their goal total. a good 3 points and a clean sheet- and yet again not rising to other teams tactics or provocation.

well done to simon and wbbc. Torino well done again, great attitudes again shown by all on and off the pitch. just keep enjoying and playing every game- one at a time and see what happens. next up away to cramlington juniors red in the league.
